Simply put, "water treatment" refers to the process of removing harmful substances from water that are not necessary for production or daily life through physical and chemical means. It is the process of settling, filtering, coagulation, flocculation, corrosion inhibition, scale inhibition, and other water quality conditioning for specific purposes. Due to the close relationship between social production, daily life, and water, the application range in the field of water treatment is very wide, forming a huge industrial application.
The commonly mentioned water treatment includes two types: sewage treatment and drinking water treatment. Commonly used water treatment agents include Aluminium chlorohydrate, polymeric Iron(III) sulfate, composite flocculant, polyacrylamide, COD remover, activated carbon and various filter materials. Common water treatment methods include: (I) sediment filtration method, (II) Water softening method, (III) activated carbon adsorption method, (IV) deionization method, (V) Reverse osmosis method, (VI) excess filtration method, (VII) distillation method, (VIII) ultraviolet disinfection method, etc.
As a commonly used heavy metal catcher, water treatment agents have the following characteristics in purifying the treated water quality:
1. The purified water quality is better than that of Aluminium sulfate flocculant, and the cost of water purification is 15-30% lower.
2. The floc has a fast formation and sedimentation rate, which is greater than the treatment capacity of traditional products such as Aluminium sulfate.
3. The alkalinity of the consumed water is lower than that of various inorganic flocculants, so it is possible to avoid or reduce the use of alkaline agents.
4. Suitable source water with a pH range of 5.0 to 9.0 can coagulate.
5. Low corrosion and good operating conditions.
6. Solubility is better than Aluminium sulfate.
7. Treating water with less increase in salt content is beneficial for ion exchange treatment and high-purity water production.
8. The adaptability to the temperature of source water is better than that of inorganic flocculants such as Aluminium sulfate.
As a pharmaceutical supplier with large production capacity in China at present, Fucheng has focused on the research, development and production of heavy metal precipitants for more than 10 years. Our products are widely used in environmental protection companies, Paper mill, leather factories, manganese mines and other industries throughout the country, and have achieved remarkable results in sewage treatment, fly ash treatment, and soil treatment projects.
